In every business, a computer with fast processor and CPU memory is a requirement. But a computer infected with a virus can cost you money, both in terms of lost time and possible damage to your hardware. If you have noticed any changes in your computer’s performance, it might be infected with the CSRSS virus, officially called W32/Nettsky.ab@MMt. Originally, the genuine csrss.exe file is a software component of Microsoft Windows by Microsoft. It is known as Client Server Runtime Process.

The tricky part in this virus, it is deceptive because csrss.exe is a legitimate file in the Windows operating system. Now, the problem here is that the virus overwrites the file and replaces it with an infected version. The virus can be removed and disabled through the Regedit. Using the Windows Registry editor, you can disable the application. First, you must verify that the csrss.exe file is actually infected before you delete it.

To prevent data loss and identity theft, it is best to ensure that the malware is eliminated quickly. The fastest way to do it is by scanning your computer through a reputable security tool. Then fix Windows system damage with a repair tool.
