All my PC files were renamed into .fireee and I can't open them. Hackers are demanding a payment in order to restore them. What should I do?

Hello,

all of my PC files were infected by some virus and renamed into '.fireee' extension. As a result, I can't access them.
Is there any way to recover them and remove the virus without paying the hackers?
